Tazewell Community Health Clinic, part of Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS), is seeking a Pediatrician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and families in a rural community setting.

Pediatrician Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child visits, immunizations, and acute care
- Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and developmental concerns
- Deliver preventive care and patient/family education
- Collaborate with behavioral health, dental, and care management teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and quality standards
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Active or eligible for Virginia medical license
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered and community-based care
Preferred:
- Experience in FQHC, community health, or rural healthcare
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $200,000 – $250,000 (based on experience)
